I have a mindfulness based holistic approach to supporting young, mid-career, and senior professionals, and individuals interested in personal growth and professional development. I strive to deliver customized guidance and solutions that meet the particular needs of each client. I’ve been an educator and meditation practitioner for 20+ years. As a neurodiverse, working class, single parent, and first generation college student and grad student, I taught at UC Berkeley in English, Native American Studies, and African American Studies. I then earned an MFA in screenwriting from UCLA, and held a named professorship as Phebe Estelle Spalding Professor of English & Africana Studies at Pomona College where I was on the faculty in English, Africana Studies, Gender & Women’s Studies, and American Studies.
